  • Why should I provide flu vaccinations for my staff?

    A flu outbreak in the workplace can cause an increase in absenteeism, which can result is a loss of productivity as well increasing the workload of any staff that do not succumb to infection. For large and small organisations alike, this can have a massive impact upon productivity and revenue. Workplace vaccinations are a great way of promoting health and wellbeing among your employees, and demonstrating a caring ethos.

    The benefits of vaccinating are:

    • Flu vaccinations improve the wellbeing of your employees, promoting job satisfaction and a positive work atmosphere.
    • Flu vaccinations reduce absenteeism
    • Flu vaccination protects employers from the risk of having key team members (who may work in close contact with one another) off sick at the same time.
    • The greater the number of people who are vaccinated, the less potential there is for flu to spread through your workplace, among staff members families, and within the local community.
    • Annual seasonal flu vaccination is the best way to reduce the chances of becoming ill with flu.

  • How many people can a nurse vaccinate per session?

    With careful advance planning, our vaccination nurses can vaccinate up to 25 people per hour.

  • What time of year should I organise my company’s flu vaccinations?

    Plan ahead and book the session as early as you feel able.

    For best protection, the optimal timing for vaccination is between September and early December, before flu viruses begin to circulate.

  • How do I arrange times for all my staff to get a flu vaccination?

    We can provide an online portal to help organise your in-house flu vaccination programme: our online web based booking system allows your staff to easily and quickly book in, saving you time and keeping your internal costs to an absolute minimum. Whether you have ten staff, or ten thousand, a single location or a hundred, we’ll make everything as painless and simple as possible.

  • What if I need to cancel our corporate flu vaccination session?

    Cancellations charges may apply, please contact our flu team as soon as possible at info@flujabs.org.

     

  • What if someone can’t attend on the day of our session?

    By prior arrangement, London-based staff are welcome to attend our Drop-in flu clinic at their convenience.

    If several people have missed out on being vaccinated, please contact us towards the end of the season, we may be able to offer a further visit at reduced cost.

  • Do I need an appointment?

    No appointment is necessary.

    Our flu season is run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm every Monday to Friday, except bank holidays.

    If you require vaccination after 5:00 pm you will need to book an appointment to see the doctor or nurse; an additional appointment fee would then be payable.

  • Do I need to pay for my flu jab on the day?

    If you are an individual, self-paying patient, you will need to pay for your jab on the day.

    If you are attending our Drop-in Clinic as part of a corporate agreement, we will normally invoice your company for the service.

  • How long is the average wait time?

    We will have your vaccination done in less than 15 minutes.

    If you have been waiting for a longer time, please let reception know.

  • What do I need to bring?

    If you are attending our drop-in clinic as part a company arrangement,  please bring your I.D and your filled in patient form provided by your HR team.
