London Self Employed Flu Nurses

We are always interested in hearing from mature and reliable RGNs, able to work on a short contract (up to three months)* on a self-employed basis, carrying out flu vaccinations in the workplace. Flu vaccinations are a great way to add a few more hours into your current nursing schedule or as a full week if your availability permits.

The ‘flu season’ generally runs from September  through to December. The sessions are Monday to Friday and mostly within office hours. It is vital that you are punctual, well presented and able to travel and work on your own. 90% of our clients are in London but there may be a requirement for you to travel by public transport, to other locations. There are no set or guaranteed hours as the workload is client-driven. However, we can very likely offer you full or half days as suits. We pay an hourly rate and your travel costs incurred during a client visit will be reimbursed.

Required:

  • Reliable, punctual, great time management skills, calm under pressure
  • Current Basic Life Support/Advanced Life Support Certificate
  • Immunisation to Hepatitis B,
  • Valid NMC Number
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance Cover
  • Nursing Certificate
  • Eligibility to work in the U.K

What we offer:

  • Excellent pay rate
  • Flexible hours
  • Mileage allowance/travel expenses/travel time (if applicable)
  • Casual/part time/ full time work depending on your current situation
  • Excellent supportive admin team

Job Type: Contract, the flu season is on a client basis, so we are unable to provide certain amount of hours per week.

We are mainly based in London, but have many corporate clients in the UK region.
Salary: £23.00 /hour

Appliers must be available for interview Wednesday 17th and Thursday 18th July 2019.

Must be self employed, with a trading name, and company number.

Must be NMC registered and have indemnity cover.

Please send your CV or details to info@flujabs.org with the email subject title FLU NURSE, or phone Charita or Laura on 020 7353 5678.
