Could this year’s Flu season be worse than in recent years? If so, why is that the case?

For the 2025/6 season, we don’t yet know. The most recent Southern Hemisphere flu season was not very mild, nor was last winter’s flu season in the UK, which started earlier than usual. We only know these things in retrospect.

Social distancing and other precautions reduced the spread of all respiratory infections during the Covid pandemic, so post-pandemic, there were valid concerns about increased susceptibility across the entire population. This effect may not completely have worn off. We consider it makes sense to be protected.

Don’t miss out on other important vaccines to protect against respiratory infection: such as Covid-19, Whooping Cough for adults, Pneumonia and Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).

We stock all these vaccinations and most can be delivered during the same appointment.

Speak with your account manager if you’re interested in adding on additional vaccinations to your workplace flu vaccination programme, or if you are a self-paying private patient, please speak with one of our nurses during your appointment. They will advise you on which vaccinations can be administered during your appointment.
