The short answer is yes.

“Swine flu”, also known as the H1N1 virus, is a type of influenza A virus. Swine flu first made headlines in 2009 when it was first discovered in humans and became a pandemic. The H1N1 virus is now considered a normal seasonal flu strain, which is covered by the annual seasonal flu vaccine.

This year’s Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere flu vaccines both include protection against H1N1 swine flu – both Quadrivalent & Trivalent flu jab options.
