Can I be vaccinated if I have a cold?

There’s no problem being vaccinated when you or your child have a cold or a minor illness. However, we prefer not to vaccinate people who currently have a fever, since the immune response to the vaccine may not be as good; it is better to defer vaccination until your fever has resolved.

If you or your child are experiencing possible coronavirus symptoms, please do not attend any appointments at the Fleet Street Clinic unless you have a negative PCR or Lateral Flow test result.

If you are experiencing possible coronavirus symptoms and are due to be vaccinated in your workplace, please contact your HR Manager.
